Biography

Singanayakanahalli Ramaiah Vishwanath is an Indian Politician who is current MLA from Yelahanka constituency since 25 May 2008. He is currently the Chairman of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and Member of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board

Vishwanath did his schooling from Government school, Singanayakanahalli. He completed his diploma in ITI from MRJTTI institute, Bangalore. He did his apprentice at Bharat Earthmovers Limited (BML). He did his Bachelors in Arts from Bangalore Arts College.

In 2000, he won the Zilla Panchayat elections from Hesaraghatta becoming the only BJP Zilla Panchayat member in the entire Bengaluru district.
