Unanimously elected as the first lady President of Singanayakanahalli Raithara Seva Sahakara Sangha from the year 2005-06 till date
During her tenure in the society as the Director and as the President, the society has seen lot of development in all spheres and is now transformed as a ‘Model Cooperative Society’.
After taking over as society President, mobilized more than 500 Sthree Shakthi Sanghas (Self Help Groups), each group consisting 15-20 lady members for whom training camps were arranged and financial help of up to Rs. 5,00,000/- for each group was awarded ensuring self-employment opportunities
Ensured digitalization and computerization of all branches of society
During her tenure as President the instalments towards Yashaswini Scheme have been waived off by the society only on behalf of customers (Beneficiaries)
Ensured that all the government schemes reached the right beneficiaries and created awareness of the schemes.
High tech building constructed as the main society branch office in Singanayakanahalli
Made possible the construction of Society Convention Centre at Marasandra
Yearly turnover of the society reached 800 crores from 8 crores in 2005
Numerous programmes like free health check-up, cattle health check-up, and blue collar skills training
More than Rs. 1 Crore of loans to more than 500 women entrepreneurs offered and ensured financial support in terms of subsidy from the Department of Child Development and Women Welfare has been provided
15 people belonging to backward classes have been provided pulling carts for fruit and vegetable vendors with the subsidy from the Department of Horticulture
In and around Singanayakanahalli she has taken revolutionary steps in making women community financial stability. In this direction she offered tailoring training and supplied sewing machines to ensure financial independence among ladies
Computer training programmes for children and women
Served as President of Bengaluru Urban District Zilla Panchayat on 12-10-2012 for one term
Two time Zilla panchayat member from Hesaraghatta and Singanayakanahalli Panchayats
